Lets talk - Skincare

Hello ladies, Now that the winter is finally over in Denmark and spring is here, the temperatures are changing so should our skin care routine. The same basic steps apply (cleansing, toning and hydration), but we need to change the products that we use. In the cold and windy days of winter we need to moisturize and protect our complexion from the lower temperatures, that means a "heavier" face cream. But in the spring time we can go a bit more light, but still hydrate and protect. Any good makeup starts with a regular daily skin care routine. So make sure that your complexion is clean and hydrated according to your skin type before going to the next step, of applying your makeup. Cleansing  - it is very important to start off with a clean face, to prepare your skin for the next step. You can use a makeup remover or a micellar water to remove the makeup, and a daily cleanser gel or a scrub to make sure you got rid off all traces of makeup. Toner - to b

Hello ladies, The look I want to show you today was my second attempt for entering to NYX Nordic FACE Awards 2018. After I filmed the messy matte-duochome purple-ish green look I was not sure it was right for a competition so I did another look. The inspiration was a modern asymmetrical gheisha. Sadly the video quality for this look was even crappier than the other one 😞. But I had to show you the look in pictures. Empties #2

Hello ladies, Sping cleaning doesnt mean only cleaning the house or decluttering your wardrobe, it also means going through your makeup collection. This is exactly what I did. Nivea Double Effect Eye Makeup Remover - best eye makeup remover I ever tried. I went through at least 4 bottles since I dicover it and I will buy it over and over again. Nivea Stay Clear Purifying Toner   - it did it's job well, left the skin nice and clean but did not impress me. So I dont think I will buy it again. L'Oreal False Lash Superstar - one of the best mascara I tried in a long time, it ads volume and definition without any fallout. Definitely will repurchase it again. L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper - good but not the greatest. I do not really think is a product you can not live without. Rimmel Wake Me Up SPF 20 Foundation - one of the best drug store, inexpensive foundation I tried. Applies nicely, blends well, lasts for a few hours without any problems. Rimmel #Ins

How to cover dark circles

Image
Hello ladies, One of my biggest problems are my dark undereye circles. They make me look tired, sick and even old. So I am always looking for products that will help me get rid of those undereye circles so I can look well-rested (even after a night out), healthier and why not, younger. These are my latest discoveries 😊: 1. The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG + 2. Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado 3. MAC Studion Concealer and Correct palette 4. NYX Translucent Studio Finishing Powder 1. The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG + It applies easy, reduces the appearance of puffiness and improves eye contour. It makes for a great eye primer, concealer applies much nicer and smoothly. 2. Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado It offers a hydration effect, it moisturizes the delicate under-eye area and smoothes the skin. Although it is very moisturizeing the under eye makup will not migrate. 3. MAC Studion Concealer and Correct Palette Four cr

Hello ladies, Those who know me, know that I πŸ’— black and that I wear it as often as I can. But lately the sunny waether outside makes me reach for more girly colors like pink and purple. Urban Decay Distortion Palette Looks

Image
Hello ladies, As you all know I was really exited about this palette so I put it to the test every chance I got.  It was kind of difficult to take some decent pics becaus of the lack of natural light in Denmark. 😞 The palette is not the most versatile I have tried, but is very colorful, mostly very pigmented, except two shades Rogue and Trash Talk that need a bit more convincing, they blend nicely and last for at least 7-8 hours without a primer.  You can create looks only useing this palette, but you can get more value out of it by introducing some tranzitional shades. These are just a few of the looks me and Urban Decay Distortion came up with in the last past months😏 ❖ Bleach, First Offence and Territorial ❖ Hot Box and Shifty ❖ Rouge, Trash Talk, 5.0 and Blur ❖ Black Out and 5.0 Kisses, Julia
