Gruesome Geisha - Halloween Look

Image
Hello ladies, This year I really got in the Halloween spirit, and with the help of my friends we created some cool/creepy looks. This geisha look turned out much better than I thought. It started out as an idea after I read and article about an urban legend in Japan, a Kuchisake-onna. A woman that wears a surgical mask and asks people if she is beautiful. If they say "yes" she removes the mask to reveal her mouth slit from ear to ear. We put a bit of a glam touch to a creepy legend, and this is the result. Thank you again, to my friend Diana ( Dyanna Deede ) for being my model, and Cirkeline Coco Sigh , for the great photos. NYX Slide On, Glide On, Stay On & Definitely a Turn On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencils

Image
Hello ladies, It dawned on me, that even if I list them on every makeup look that I do, I never told you or show you the best eyeliner pencils in the world. OK, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but they are really really good. Of course, I am talking about the NYX Slide On, Glide On, Stay On & Definitely a Turn On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencils. I am all for high end brands, but when you shave almost half of the pencil off when you sharpen it, it does not make sense to buy an expensive one, when these work just as well. From left to right we have: Pure White, Platinum, Glitzy Gold, Golden Bronze, Disco Rage, Esmeralda, Tropical Green, Nebula, Brown Perfection, Jet Black. You can see from the arm swatches how creamy, pigmented and opaque they are. I have not try a more opaque white liner until I met Pure White. They really glide on (they are so smooth), most definitely they stay on for at least 10-12 h (even on the waterline), after they sett they became smudg

Jack-O-Lantern Halloween Look

Image
Hello ladies, What is Halloween without a Jack-O-Lantern? This is my interpretation of a Jack-O-Lantern, and unlike the Medusa look I did, for this one, you do not need special face painting products.  You can use your foundation as a base and some really pigmented eye shadows. I use a white base, just to make the orange eye shadow be more bright and vibrant. Hope you like it. 🤗❤ What will you be for Halloween? Are you going for something scary or fun? I am curious, so leave me a comment bellow.  👻🎃🎨 Products used: EYES : Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer Melkior Eyeshadow in Black Velvet NYX Slide on, Glide on, Stay on in Jet Black Løwén Copenhagen Beyond Volume and Curl Mascara in 01 Black FACE: Dr Botanicals Maraccan Rose Facial Oil Snazaroo Clown White Face Paint Snazaroo Clasic Face Paint in Black Melkior Eyeshadow in Orange, Gold Metal and Black Velvet Juvia's Place Mini Masqerade in Ada and Burkina Juva's Place Magic Mini Palet

Hello ladies, Today's look, unlike the previous one, was inspired by a color crush, namely Faso from the Juvia's Place Magic Mini Palette. I can not express in words my fascination with this shade. I would wear it each and every day, but I think this might be boring for everybody around me. 🙈 But if you are interested in seeing more looks with this shade, or just see how to get the most pay-off out of an eye shadow, let me know in a comment bellow, and I will make it happen. Lots of love. 💗      Products used: EYES : Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer Juvia's Magic Mini Palette in Kesi, Ife, and Faso Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette in Charmed, I'm Sure Sephora Contour Eye Pencil 12H Wear in Eccentric Diva Maybelline Eyestudio Lastimg Drama Gel Liner in 01 Black Yves Rocher Crazy Sexy Pulp Mascara in 01 Black Melkior False Eyelashes in Natural Look, Romantic Eyes – Maybelline  Tatoo Brow, Brow Pomade in 05 Dark Brown Maybelline Brow

Green Love 💚

Hello ladies, This look just happened, with no plan in mind, no major crush on an eye shadow shade. I just sat down to do a look and let my brushes choose the colors and the placement. I really how the look turned out, but I had a bit of a hard time working with the new lights and background I ordered. But I decided to post it anyways to show you that everything on this blog is real and unedited. To often we look at pics on Instagram and be amazed how flawless the look is, but we don't see what is behind the scenes, the lights, the touch-ups. So to be honest with you, you will see some "bad" pictures on my blog, because this is life, this is how we learn (about how to set-up the background, lights, the camera), this is how we get better, by having some "bad" pictures to look back on, and see the improvement you made. Enough of my ramblings, I hope you like the look, and if you do, please leave a comment in the section bellow.  Lots of love. 💗

Hello ladies, From some of my friends I heard, that they use more natural and neutral shades in their looks because they are afraid of bright colors, like yellow, orange, magenta, lime green. But for me contrasts are attractive, be it textures, patterns or colors. I feel that using contrasts, you emphasize more what you want to show off, it draws the eye where you want. What I am trying to say (and kind of failing) is that you don't have to be afraid of color, as long as it is paired with some neutrals shades. Use them as a pop of color, like I did in this look. 😊💛♥ And of course, go for a natural lips. 👄 If you like it, don't forget to let me know in the comment section below. Lots of love. 💗 Products used: EYES : Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette in Peaches'n Cream Urban Decay Distortion Palette in  Bleach, Old Smoke and Blackout Juvia's Magic Mini Palette in Vai Melkior Eye Shadow in Orange NYX Sl

Medusa - Halloween Look

Hello ladies, This look is for a Facebook Halloween Competition , and it was the perfect opportunity, for me to play more with the Kryolan Aqua Palette (which I am loving more and more), also to create some cool props, with the help of my lovely and handy boyfriend. He also took the pictures 📸. The makeup took 3 hour to put on and half of that to take off, but it was really really fun to create it. 🐍🎭   Products used: EYES : Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer Juvia's Magic Mini Palette in Buzo and Nubia Urban Decay Distortion Palette in Hot Box Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner in 01 Black Yves Rocher Crazy Sexy Pulp Mascara in 01 Black No Name False Eyelashes – Kryolan Aqua Color FP Palette in 509, Green 42, 079, 071 and Gold Snazaroo Classic Face Paint in White and Black Primark Glitter Junkie Metalic Body Paint in Gleam FACE: Clinique Pep-Start Hydrorush Moisturizer Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream Benefit The Pore Fesional

Frosted Look with Juvia's Mini Magic Palette

Image
Hello ladies, In the article about Juvia's Magic Mini Palette - First Impression , I mentioned that the palette is absolute MAGIC and I can not get enough of the eyeshadows. What I did not tell you was that I fell in love with the shade Faso as soon as I swatched. It is a stunning lilac shade with a blue and pink duo chrome shimmer. For this look I used it in spades, I could not get over how beautiful it applies, blends and looks on the eye. 💙💜 Products used: EYES : Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer Juvia's Magic Mini Palette in Kesi, Ife, and Faso Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette in Charmed, I'm Sure Sephora Contour Eye Pencil 12H Wear in Eccentric Diva Maybelline Eyestudio Lastimg Drama Gel Liner in 01 Black Yves Rocher Crazy Sexy Pulp Mascara in 01 Black Melkior False Eyelashes in Natural Look, Romantic Eyes – Maybelline  Tatoo Brow, Brow Pomade in 05 Dark Brown Maybelline Brow Drama 12 H Sculpting Brow Mascara in 01 Transparent

Sabon Body Oil

Image
Hello ladies, I don't know about you, but for me, the best part after a long day, is the pampering feeling of applying body lotion or body oil after a warm shower. I have a few favorites now, that I alternate, but this body oil from Sabon is one of my absolute favorites. It was a birthday gift from one of my closest friends, which I would like to thank, this way, very much for the lovely thought. 💗 "It all began in Tel Aviv, Israel, in 1997 when childhood friends Avi Piatok and Sigal Kotler-Levy began making soap in their home. Guided by an ancient aboriginal recipe, they meticulously blended various local herbs and flowers into a magical mixture of fragrant oils to create delightful handmade soaps. Sliced and beautifully wrapped, SABON became a beacon for products that inspire creativity and provide exceptional quality. With the same love and creativity that inspired the original bar of soap, Sabon has expanded to products for the body, the home and the soul. Our

Hello ladies, Since is already October (by the way...where did this year flew? 😲) that means is open season on creepy full faced makeup. First attempt at a Halloween makeup this year was done with the support of my lovely fiends, Diana ( Dyanna Deede ) who had the patience to be my model, and Cirkeline Coco Sigh  , the photographer who took these amazing photos.
