Empties #4

Hello ladies,

The last Empties article I did was back in September, and I am shocked at how many products piled up in just two months 😲, so I will keep the intro short and just dive in to the products I've gone through.

L'Oreal Glam Beige Healthy Glow Foundation - liked it, didn't love it. Wore it mostly in the summer as a sheer foundation BB cream kind of a thing, but after a few hours it would just disappear. I will not buy it again.

Rimmel Wake Up Anti-Fatigue Foundation - really like it for days/nights when I wanted some coverage but also a bit of a glow, it has a nice glow-y dewy finish and last a few hours without touch-ups. I will buy it again after I finish some of the foundations that I currently have.

Pupa Like a Doll Perfecting Makeup Fluid - had a bit of trouble figuring this product out, is it a primer? is it a BB cream? is it a real sheer foundation? What ever it is, it didn't work for me. It did absolutely nothing on it's own or layered under another foundation. I will definitely not purchase it again.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Perfect and Cover Concealer - an amazing concealer, light weight, good coverage, stay in place for several hours, does not crease. Definitely recommend and will purchase it again.

Jorgobé Hand Cream - received it in a GoodieBox and I loved it, it is fast absorbing, hydrating and softening. It is just a bit pricey for a hand cream so I don't think I will buy it.

Pielor Argan Therapy Hand Cream -  as soon as the weather turns a bit cold my hands need some TLC, so I go through hand creams pretty fast. This one was OK but not great, purse size, hydrating but left an oily film after. I will not buy it again.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10%+HA 2% - an inexpensive chemical peel, did not really see any wow results, skin felt and looked a bit cleaner, but nothing spectacular. Still thinking about if I should purchase it again or not, or just try other things from The Ordinary.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - love it! love it! love it! and I will buy it over and over again, until they stop making it. It is creamy, nourishing and brightening, makes the concealer stay longer and not crease.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - a nice night care oil, plumps the skin, makes it nice and soft. For now I am in love with You&Oil Superfood for Skin Face Serum with Carrot, Broccoli and Chia, so for the moment I will not purchase Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate.

BalanceMe Pure Skin Face Wash - a 99% natural face cleanser that did not work for me. My complexion is mixed normal with an oily T zone, but after using this it felt dry and tight. Sensation I did not like. So this is a pass for me.

Melkior Khol Eye Pencil in Black - nice and pigmented, not very creamy but not dry either.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil in Ash Brown - pigmented, precise, long wearing but not enough product.

L'Oreal Brow Artist Xpert in Cool Brunette - to wax-y and big for my eyebrows. A pass for me.

Rimel Eyebrow Pencil in Black Brown - soft but not creamy, good colour pay-off, nice amount of product. But I will not buy it again for now.

Sephora Highlight Lowlight Face Contour Duo - lately I am in to cream contour under the powder one, and I picked up the Sephora one out of curiosity. I liked the contour side better than the highlight one. I will probably buy it again.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Rose Gold Eyelash Curler  - also received in a GoodieBox, decent curler, nothing spectacular, but lately it feels like it lost it's grip and does not curl the lashes so well.

Revolution Luxury Banana Powder - I bought it out of delusional hope, that it can be like the Ben Nye one. Of course it wasn't. A pass.

Maybelline Lemonade Craze Palette - I really tried to like this palette, because I like so much of the Maybelline products, but I just could not make it work for me.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray - best setting spray I have tried so far. Already bought 2 bottles as back-up. Love it!

Vichy Ideal Soleil SPF 30 Mattifying Face Fluid - it took me a bit to figure this product out and how to wear it under primer and foundation, but it is worth the small effort. I will probably purchase it again.

I am curious if you tried any of these products and what was your experience with them. And don't forget, if you want a detailed review for any of these products, as always, leave me a comment below.

Kisses, Julia
