Sephora Scandinavia Christmas Competition Look

Image
Hello ladies, At the end of September, Sephora Scandinavia, held on Instagram a Christmas themed, makeup competition. If you showed them your perfect Christmas look, you won the chance of  getting your look and Instagram profile published in their magazine.  At the suggestion of a friend of mine (Thank you, again, for the suggestion 😘💓) I sign up with this look, within a day after finding out about the competition. For me Christmas is warm, cozy but definitely shinny and sparkly. P.s. I won the competition, but sadly I did not get publishesd because :" Hi sweetie We are sorry to inform you that we unfortunately couldn’t find the right spot in our Christmas Magazine for your wonderful Christmas look. Instead we would like to repost your beautiful look on our Instagram, if it is okay with you? Have a wonderful weekend 🙌🏼 Love Sephora" If you want to recreate the look, the products I used are listed below. Products used: EYES : Too Faced S...

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Image
Hello ladies, As I mentioned in my previous post, it is time to say "Good bye" to the Urban Decay Naked palette, one of the most known and most copied palettes in the makeup industry. Urban Decay Naked Palette is synonym with natural/neutral looks and has revolutionized the way we do "naked" looks.  Personally, I love a bit of color in every makeup look I do, so although this beautiful palette was always on my wish list, I never got around to buying it. Mainly because I thought I had time and it will always be a constant. The shocking news pushed me to go out and purchase it.  Now that it is in my collection, I am kicking myself for not buying it sooner. The formulation is just beautiful, creamy, highly pigmented, they blend like a dream. The color selection is spot on, from very light to very dark shades, the range of finishes vary from matte to satin to shimmery. I can fully understand why this palette was praised so much. Below I'll leave yo...

Hottie Toddy Look with Too Faced Gingerbread Palette

Image
Hello ladies, As I mentioned in my previous post, I tried to recreate the look Hottie Toddy from the How-to Glamour Guide that came with the palette. I started with applying Powdered Sugar from my crease to the brow bone, than blend Oh Snap! in the crease. Smoked out Hot Toddy into the outer crease and smudge it on the lower lash line. Pressed Spiced Rum, with a damp brush, onto the lid, and finished with Frostbite Me! as a highlight in the inner corner. False lashes, mascara and done! What do you think? Do you like it? Leave me a comment below if you want to see the other two suggestions. Lots of love.💗   EYES : MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre Too Faced Gingerbread Palette in Powdered Sugar, Oh Snap!, Hot Toddy, Spiced Rum and Frostbite Me! Urban Decay Naked Look

Image
Hello ladies, Sad news for the neutral-natural makeup lovers as the most iconic, well known and probably most copied palette on the market is being discontinued this year. I am talking, of course, about the Urban Decay Naked Palette. After eight years, the palette that revolutionized the neutral makeup will no longer be available. Somehow I always thought it will be forever on the shelf, but the news was my cue, to go out and get my own piece of makeup history. The look is the first one I ever did with the Naked palette, and although I am not the biggest fan of neutral/natural looks I really love the outcome. 💗 EYES : MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre Urban Decay Naked Palette in : Virgin, Naked, Buck, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted and Creep NYX Slide On, Glide On, Stay on Eyeliner Pencil in Jet Black Løwén Copenhagen Beyond Volume & Curl Mascara in 01 Black Tehnic Natural Lashes in BC19 – Maybelline Tattoo Brow Pomade in 05 Dark Brown Model Co M...

Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Palette - Review

Image
Hello ladies, Christmas is just around the corner and what says warmth and coziness more than a palette that smells of gingerbread cookies. Yes, you read right. Too Faced are famous for their chocolate and peach scented pallets but now they launched a palette that smells of Christmas. You get 18 beautiful colors, warm toned, both mattes and shimmers, that have an intoxicating smell of freshly baked gingerbread cookies. The palette is suited for warm skin tones or for persons who love bold and shimmery colors. If you are a more of a natural/neutral eye shadow type of a gal, it is best to skip this palette, as it is a bit pricey (390 kr at  Sephora Scandinavia ). You also get a How-to-Glamour Guide, with three suggested looks that you can create with this palette, and I tried to recreate Hottie Toddy (look soon to come), because Hot Toddy it is my absolute favorite color out of the entire palette (a splendid almost duo-chromed red-plumed shade with pink, purple and gold r...
