Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Palette - Review

Hello ladies,

Christmas is just around the corner and what says warmth and coziness more than a palette that smells of gingerbread cookies. Yes, you read right. Too Faced are famous for their chocolate and peach scented pallets but now they launched a palette that smells of Christmas. You get 18 beautiful colors, warm toned, both mattes and shimmers, that have an intoxicating smell of freshly baked gingerbread cookies.

The palette is suited for warm skin tones or for persons who love bold and shimmery colors. If you are a more of a natural/neutral eye shadow type of a gal, it is best to skip this palette, as it is a bit pricey (390 kr at Sephora Scandinavia).

You also get a How-to-Glamour Guide, with three suggested looks that you can create with this palette, and I tried to recreate Hottie Toddy (look soon to come), because Hot Toddy it is my absolute favorite color out of the entire palette (a splendid almost duo-chromed red-plumed shade with pink, purple and gold reflexes, that my camera does not do it justice 😭😭).

They swatch beautifully, are creamy (except Frostbite Me and Spiced Rum that are a bit flaky and need a bit more convincing), blend like a dream but have a slight fall-out. There are 9 complete matte shades, 8 gorgeous shimmers and one matte with glitter.

Top row, from left to right: Powdered Sugar, Spiked Eggnog, Gumdrop, Gingerbread, Warm&Toasty and Ooo Burn!

Middle row, from left to right: Frostbite Me!, Lookie at my Cookie, Spice is Nice, Oh Snap!, Bake it 'til You Make It, Spice of Life

Bottom row, from left to right: Sugar Daddy, Figgy Pudding, Hot Toddy, Reindeer Paws, Gingerbread Latte, Spiced Rum

I am completely in love with this palette, and I have a feeling I will be reaching for it a lot. 💗

Kisses, Julia
